How To Use Perfume
White Reverie smells like clean skin and fresh laundry, done expensively. Bright, soft, never heavy.
Aldehydes and white peach are the opening, sparkling and soapy, with bergamot keeping it lifted. Orange blossom and lily of the valley make the heart airy rather than heady. Musk, ambroxan and akigalawood come in underneath, warm and a little peppery, still glowing after the flowers fade.
Our Creation of Parfums de Marly Valaya. We made our own version at eau de parfum strength, 25 to 30% oil.
Daylight, air conditioning, heat. It smells impeccably clean rather than perfumed.
Made in the UAE with oils from France and Switzerland. 50ml or 100ml spray, or a 10ml roll-on oil if you'd rather skip the alcohol.
Frequently asked
What does Parfums de Marly Valaya smell like?
Sparkling aldehydes and white peach, then orange blossom and lily-of-the-valley over clean musk and ambroxan. Light, soft and freshly laundered. White Reverie follows that same direction in our own blend.
How long will it last?
It's a full eau de parfum at 25 to 30% concentration, made for strong performance. How long it lasts depends on your skin, the weather and how much you apply, and it holds longer on clothing than on skin.
Is White Reverie good for daily wear?
Yes. It's light and easy, and soft enough to wear every day without tiring of it.
How should I apply it?
One spray on each pulse point: neck and chest, inner wrists, shoulders, and behind the ears. Fragrance holds better on moisturised skin, so just after a shower works well.
Is this perfume suitable for daily wear?
Yes. Most of our fragrances are designed to work across daily routines, work, casual outings and evenings. Check the scent profile to see whether the fragrance leans fresh, woody, sweet, smoky or intense.
Can I wear this perfume in UAE weather?
Yes. Application matters in warmer weather. Use fewer sprays outdoors during the day and apply to clothes or pulse points for better longevity.
Where should I spray perfume for better performance?
Apply to pulse points such as the neck and wrists, and lightly on clothing. Avoid rubbing the fragrance after spraying.
How many sprays should I use?
Usually 3–5 sprays are enough, depending on the fragrance strength, weather and occasion. Stronger oud, tobacco or smoky fragrances may need fewer sprays.
Does perfume last longer on clothes or skin?
Fragrance usually lasts longer on fabric, while skin allows the scent to develop more naturally. For best results, use a combination of both.
How should I store my perfume?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. Avoid storing it near a window or inside a hot car.
